Bat catching is a family business!

Emma, Jo and Darwin help out with a night of pit-tagging Leptonycteris yerbabuenae at our research site in the Sierra Cacachilas.  Jo had to brave her claustrophobia to come inside the mine with us, but she was a big help.  Both Jo and Darwin are rabies-vaccinated so they could help process the bats and Emma helped out by taking down the data.  We caught and tagged about 100 bats, including...
